| A chilly and cold start to the day |
Today started chilly and cold, and after 12 km LeAnn took a cab to the night stop, her shin splints were hurting and she has to take a few days off, Luisa from Italy went to the hospital as she couldn't walk, turns out she has tendonitis and too, has to rest a few days. Within 5 km of the end today, English Peter had a bout of shin splints and has to rest up. Dropping like flies right now, but I have learned that pilgrims are a tough bunch, so I expect they will all be back at it soon.
Tomorrow we are in Leon, so that may help them a bit.
Last night we went to watch the bulls run in Sahagan, more like cow running, but it was fun, and Matt, Jason, and Francesco ran. When they got into the stadium, they hid in the girls corner .I had to talk to them about that.
Look at the three of them scrambling over the hide, you would think it was a tiger chasing them. Poor girls.

You dont see too many walled cities here, but this is one we walked through today. Was quite a boring walk, but tomorrow we get into Leon and that's supposed to be very nice. Not sure if I'll stay long, but the Italian nation I have hooked up with want to stay awhile, so does speedy, so I'll decide when I get there. I have made great friends of the Italians, even though they hardly speak English, but we get by as Francesco does well with both languages, and translates. I had a good connection with him when we met,so I think we will be long time friends.
Camino friends, Luisa is a great lady too, even rides motocross bikes, so gets my vote.
Oh well, of to bed and back on the road tomorrow, where I'll end up will depend on the casualty count.
