Got lost right out of the gate,,, which opened at 5.15 and ended up on a side road lost . I walked till I saw a road sign which said the name of the town I wanted to reach first . From experience I knew the path sometimes criss crosses the road. That's what I looked for with limited confidence I would find it,, and found trail at about 6 am. Also on trail was Tino and Arenia his daughter. This was a hard day as it was spent in the mountains going up and down all day. I lost my photos for today somehow, don't know what happened,but not a lot to shout about anyway. I tried to go an extra 5 k and got to San Xil, there was no where to stay so had to move on. I promised to meet Carlos there, but he would know I had moved on because of the no bed situation. So the next town would do, no such luck, the next two towns were empty, so it was another 3 hours and 15 k of walking till I found an albergue just before Sarria, it had a pool, oh hey.
Got settled and had a big vegetarian meal which was great, a jug of red, and tried to blog, the WiFi is so slow I can't get it done, most probably where my photos went. Some guys didn't find the albergue, but what's wrong with a good old concrete memorial to sleep at, a dog for comfort, and a begging cup.
