Nothing else but to get going. So my legs started walking, and my nose started running. It took me half an hour to find my way out of the village and into the valley. The marking are really bad, and its really dark. The first two hours were along a highway, but it was surprisingly pleasant, then I walked into the forests and through some quaint towns
Found this little refreshment stall on the climb and had an apple with healer John who I have met on and off for weeks. I then moved on to LA Faba which was to be my night stop. I had a vegetable crepe and a glass of water melon juice and fell asleep on the bench next to the fountain, in the square. this was one of the tastiest meals Ive had in days
When I woke, I decided to take stick out as he had been riding on the side of Leonard all day, and take a slow climb to the next village at the very top of the mountain range. Took me twice as long, but anytime someone got close, I let them through and just walked slowly on my own . was a great Camino day.
The village we are in is beautiful but tiny, lucky there is an albergue here, some would say, a little crowded with beds.
We are now in Galicia and the menu has already changed, I guess it's Octopus when ever I want it.
Tomorrow is short as I made time today, I will decide how far , but tonight, almost the whole gang is here. Missing Peter who is soldiering on with his leg, Francesco who I hope is catching up, but Luisa has no such luck, her leg didn't come round so she went home to Italy. I'll miss her.
