Had two days to rest and reflect, yesterday more people I walked with came hobbling in doing the Camino shuffle, and it was really good to see and congratulate them.
I sat quietly in the plaza in front of the cathedral on the stone, and thought about the last two months, the people I met, the early quiet mornings, and some pretty rowdy evenings. It all seems a little surreal right now, it was sad to say goodbye to some of the pilgrims who I had shared this little segment of my life with, but I think we will remain friends and stay in touch.
Tanya,Carlos, me , Tino, Arenia, Luisa in the square after they arrived today.

Last night was the summer equinox and there was a party in about every plaza or square. Bands and food and wine and people dancing, it was a fitting end of the journey for some.
Tino, my non english speaking buddy from the canaries, a great great man

So today, many of us say goodbye, but John comes in today from the North, and Peter and Francesco finish their Camino. Time for a wine and final chin wag with some unforgettable characters.
I am glad to say that a number of friends have now decided to go to Finistere as well , Jason, maybe Jessica, Matt, Luisa will bus there, and I ran into the lovely mother and daughter who gave me a bum steer about accommodation on my last day, they found out the hard way too, and said they knew I would push on, we had a good laugh about it, and now they are going to walk the Way to Finistere too. I think it's all great.
Time to repack Leonard the girl elephant and get ready to leave early tomorrow morning, I can't believe this is the final leg.
BUEN CAMINO
